These updates are sent by me personally, not automated — so occasionally one might be a little late. If you haven't heard from me and were expecting an update, please don't hesitate to reach out.

FAQ
What if my order takes longer than 8 weeks?
Handmade ceramics can sometimes take a little longer than expected... I can't guarantee an exact delivery date as every piece is made entirely by hand. If your order hasn't shipped after 8 weeks, I'll personally email you with an update. At that point you can choose to wait a little longer (with a 15% discount as a thank you for your patience), or cancel your order for a full refund.
Can I change my order after placing it?
Yes, as long as I haven't started making your mug yet. If you haven't received an email saying your mug is made, just email me at info@isaceramics.nl and I'll do my best to make the change.
Will the colours look exactly like on the photos?
Colours can vary slightly from what you see on screen, every monitor displays colours a little differently. Handmade glazes also naturally shift during the kiln firing process, which fires at very high temperatures. This is part of what makes each piece unique, but it means I can't guarantee an exact colour match.
Is the mug dishwasher safe?
Yes, all mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe. That said, I recommend handwashing where possible, repeated dishwasher cycles can over time cause small cracks in the glaze. A quick handwash keeps your mug looking its best for longer.
What if my mug arrives broken?
I'm so sorry if that happens. Please send a photo of the damage to info@isaceramics.nl and I'll remake your mug as soon as possible. I'll do my best to have a new one on its way within 2–3 weeks.
Can I return a personalised mug?
Because every mug is made to order and personalised just for you, returns aren't possible. If something isn't right with your order, please reach out at info@isaceramics.nl I'll always do my best to find a solution.

Made from porcelain
I work with porcelain because of its smooth texture and ability to hold detail beautifully. Denser and more refined than regular earthenware — which is why it feels so good in your hands.
Fired at high temperatures
Every mug goes through two firings at around 1220°C. This makes the glaze food-safe and durable — and is also why colours can shift slightly during the process.
Built to last
With a little care, your mug will last for years. Handwashing keeps the glaze looking its best — but it's dishwasher and microwave safe too.
Naturally imperfect
Slight variations in shape, colour, and texture are a natural part of handmade ceramics. No two pieces are ever exactly alike — which is exactly the point.
