Everything about delivery:
Processing & shipping time
Every product page shows an estimated processing time, this is how long it takes me to prepare and ship your order. Please note that this is the time until your order leaves my studio, not the time it arrives at your door.
Because everything is made by hand, I can't always guarantee these timelines to the day. If your order takes longer than expected, I will always reach out to you personally with an update, you won't be left wondering.
Once your order is shipped
As soon as your parcel is on its way, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with your track & trace code. You can follow your order at any time via this tracking link.
Please keep in mind that this is an external tracking app, which means it can occasionally show delays or not update in real time. If the tracking seems off or you're unsure where your parcel is, feel free to send me an email, I'm happy to look into it with you.
Delivery time
How long delivery takes depends on your country. You can find the estimated delivery times per country in the shipping calculator below. Please note that these are estimates and can vary due to customs, local postal services, or busy periods.

Lost or delayed parcels
If your parcel seems to be taking longer than expected, I'd kindly ask you to contact the courier directly first, they often have the most up-to-date information on where your parcel is. That said, I'm always happy to help and look into it on my end as well.
If a parcel is officially declared lost by the courier and we have written confirmation of this, I will either offer a full refund or resend your order free of charge, whichever you prefer.
Your delivery address
Please make sure your shipping address is correct at the time of ordering. Unfortunately I can't be held responsible if a parcel is delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If you notice a mistake after placing your order, contact me as soon as possible and I'll do my best to help.
Select your country to see what customs rules may apply to your order. All orders are shipped from the Netherlands.
Netherlands — nothing extra to pay
You're in the Netherlands, so no customs charges apply. VAT is included in your order total at checkout. Your order will arrive with no surprises.
European Union — nothing extra to pay
No customs charges apply within the EU. VAT is included in your order total at checkout. Your order ships from the Netherlands and will arrive with no additional fees.
United Kingdom — usually nothing extra
Since Brexit, UK orders may be subject to import VAT. For most orders under £135, VAT is charged at checkout — meaning no additional charges at the door. Orders above £135 may incur duties on arrival. We recommend checking with HMRC or your delivery carrier if you're ordering a larger amount. Please note these rules can change — always verify before ordering.
United States — nothing extra to pay
Import duties and taxes are already included in your shipping costs for US orders. There's nothing extra to pay on delivery.
Australia — low-value threshold applies
Australia charges GST (10%) on imported goods. This may be collected at checkout or on delivery depending on the order value. Orders under AUD $1,000 are generally processed without formal customs clearance but GST may still apply. We recommend checking with the Australian Border Force for the latest rules.
Canada — duties may apply
Canada charges duties and taxes on imported goods. Orders under CAD $20 are generally duty-free, but most ceramic orders will exceed this. HST or GST may apply depending on your province. Check with the Canada Border Services Agency for details.
Switzerland — customs charges likely
Switzerland is not part of the EU, so orders are subject to Swiss customs. Import VAT (currently 8.1%) and handling fees from the postal carrier typically apply. Check with Swiss Customs for current rates.
Norway — customs charges likely
Norway is not part of the EU, so orders may be subject to Norwegian VAT (25%) and customs duties depending on the value. Orders under NOK 350 are generally exempt. Check with Norwegian Customs for current thresholds.
Japan — low threshold applies
Japan has a low duty-free threshold (around ¥10,000 customs value). Orders above this may be subject to import consumption tax and customs duties. Check with Japan Customs for current rates.
Singapore — GST may apply
Singapore charges GST (9%) on all imported goods since 2023, with no minimum threshold. This is typically collected by your delivery carrier on arrival. Check with Singapore Customs for details.
Other countries — please check locally
Customs rules vary widely by country. Import duties, taxes, or handling fees may be charged by your local customs authority on arrival. These costs are not included in your order total and are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend checking with your local customs authority before placing an order. Any questions? Email info@isaceramics.nl — I'm happy to help.
The information above is a general guide only and is not legally binding. Customs rules can change at any time. Isa Ceramics is not responsible for any customs charges, delays, or orders refused at customs. Always verify with your local customs authority before ordering if you're unsure.
