Care & quality
Made to last — with a little love.

Every piece is made from fine porcelain, fired twice and glazed at 1220°C. Strong and beautiful — but like anything made by hand, it deserves a little care.

Washing
Warm water and a soft sponge is all you need. It keeps the glaze looking its best, protects any printed details, and prevents your piece from knocking around in a machine. If you have a Ps. I love you piece, handwashing is especially recommended to keep the transferred image looking beautiful for as long as possible.
Technically fine for standard pieces — but mugs can knock into each other during the cycle and the heat over time can affect the glaze. If you use a dishwasher, place them on the lower rack with plenty of space around them, and avoid heavy-duty or high-temperature programmes. For Ps. I love you pieces, handwashing is always better.

Heat & everyday use
Porcelain fired at high temperatures is microwave safe as long as the glaze contains no metal. All standard Isa Ceramics glazes are metal-free, so your mug is fine in the microwave for everyday use.
Porcelain can handle moderate oven heat, but doesn't love sudden temperature changes. Let your piece come to room temperature before placing it in the oven. Never place directly on an open flame or induction hob.
Avoid pouring boiling water into a cold mug straight from the fridge, or moving a piece suddenly from freezer to oven. Porcelain is strong but doesn't love extreme temperature changes — a little patience goes a long way.
No steel wool or abrasive cleaners please. The glaze is smooth and easy to clean — a soft sponge with a little washing up liquid is all it needs. For stubborn stains, a small amount of baking soda works well without scratching.

A little note on handmade ♡

Every piece is unique — which means tiny variations in shape, texture, and glaze are completely normal and very much intentional. Small marks or colour shifts in the glaze aren't flaws. They're proof that your piece was made by hand. My hands. That's the whole point.

Material & quality

Fine porcelain

I work with porcelain because of its smooth texture and ability to hold detail beautifully. Denser and more refined than regular earthenware — which is why it feels so good in your hands.

Fired twice at 1220°C

Every mug goes through two firings at around 1220°C. This makes the glaze food-safe and durable — and is also why colours can shift slightly during the process.

Built to last

With a little care, your mug will last for years. It's made to be part of your everyday — not something you put away and forget about.

Naturally imperfect

No two pieces are ever exactly alike. Slight variations in shape, colour, and texture are a natural part of the process — and exactly what makes it yours.
