FAQ
How do I submit my handwritten note?
You can upload a photo of your handwritten note directly on this page. Make sure the photo is sharp and well-lit: lighting and shadows can affect how clearly I can read your handwriting. I'll put exactly what's on your photo onto the mug. If there's anything in the photo you'd like removed or adjusted, just send me an email at info@isaceramics.nl before I start and I'll sort it out (:
Will my handwriting look exactly the same on the mug?
In most cases, yes. Colours can sometimes come out slightly different after firing, darker colours usually stay true, but stronger colours like lilac or yellow can come out a little darker than expected. If you're unsure about a colour, feel free to email me first.
Can I return this mug?
Because every mug is made to order and personalised just for you, returns aren't possible. If something isn't right with your order, please reach out at info@isaceramics.nl — I'll always do my best to find a solution.
Is the handwriting permanent and dishwasher safe?
Yes, once fired in the kiln at high temperatures, your handwriting becomes a permanent part of the ceramic. It's fully dishwasher safe, though handwashing is always recommended to keep it looking its best for longer.
Can I send someone else's handwriting?
Absolutely. This mug makes a beautiful gift, you could use a loved one's handwriting, a child's drawing, or even a note from someone who is no longer here. Just upload the photo after ordering.
What if my mug arrives broken?
I'm so sorry if that happens. Please send a photo of the damage to info@isaceramics.nl and I'll remake your mug as soon as possible. I'll do my best to have a new one on its way within 2–3 weeks.
