Can I return this mug?
Yes — because this mug is not personalised, returns are accepted within 14 days of receiving your order. Please email me at info@isaceramics.nl to let me know. Return shipping costs are at your own expense, unless the mug arrived damaged or incorrect, in that case I'll cover the costs and sort it out straight away.
Is the mug dishwasher and microwave safe?
Yes, all mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe. That said, I recommend handwashing where possible, repeated dishwasher cycles can over time cause small cracks in the glaze. A quick handwash keeps your mug looking its best for longer.
Are there slight differences between mugs?
Yes because every mug is handmade, slight variations in shape, colour, and texture are completely normal and part of what makes it unique. No two pieces are ever exactly alike.
Can I add a personal message or name?
This particular mug is a ready-to-ship piece and can't be personalised. If you'd love a custom version with your own name or message, take a look here , made entirely to order, just for you.
Will I have to pay customs or import fees?
It depends on where you're ordering from. For full details per country, visit Delivery page. The short version: EU orders have nothing extra to pay, US orders have duties included in shipping, and UK orders under £135 are typically fine. Made from porcelain
I work with porcelain because of its smooth texture and ability to hold detail beautifully. Denser and more refined than regular earthenware — which is why it feels so good in your hands.
Fired at high temperatures
Every mug goes through two firings at around 1220°C. This makes the glaze food-safe and durable — and is also why colours can shift slightly during the process.
Built to last
With a little care, your mug will last for years. Handwashing keeps the glaze looking its best — but it's dishwasher and microwave safe too.
Naturally imperfect
Slight variations in shape, colour, and texture are a natural part of handmade ceramics. No two pieces are ever exactly alike — which is exactly the point.
