Still food-safe, lead-free porcelain
Second Sale item — final sale, no returns

Second Sale is a small selection of pieces with minor imperfections: a slightly uneven shape, a small chip, a hairline mark, or a piece that started life as a design test. They're sold at a lower price for exactly that reason.

I will never sell a piece that isn't food-safe. Every Second Sale mug is still made from the same pure porcelain clay, fired twice at around 1220°C, with the same food-safe, lead-free glaze as my regular collection. Only the surface or shape has a small flaw — the quality and safety are unchanged.

Material Pure porcelain clay
Glaze Food-safe, lead-free
Firing temperature approx. 1220°C

Second Sale pieces are sold as final sale — since imperfections are already priced in and disclosed upfront, returns and exchanges are not accepted for this reason. If your piece arrives broken or damaged in transit, that's different: contact me and I'll sort out a replacement or refund.

Grade A pieces are nearly flawless — a tiny chip on the base or an early design test, only visible up close. Grade B pieces have more noticeable imperfections, like a slightly uneven shape or a fine hairline mark near the rim, but the same handmade quality throughout.
Yes, always. I will never sell a piece that isn't food-safe. Every Second Sale mug is made from the same porcelain clay and fired with the same food-safe, lead-free glaze as my regular collection. The imperfections are cosmetic or shape-related, never anything that affects safety.
No — Second Sale items are final sale, since the imperfections are disclosed upfront and already reflected in the price. If your piece arrives damaged during shipping, that's covered separately: email me a photo within 48 hours and I'll help you out.
Not for individual pieces — each Second Sale mug is unique and assigned to Grade A or B based on its specific flaw. You're purchasing within a grade, not a guaranteed exact piece, unless stated otherwise on the product page.
Yes, Second Sale happens whenever I have enough pieces with small imperfections built up. Sign up to get notified and receive early access next time it opens.
Yes. All pieces are made from porcelain and fired at around 1220°C. The glaze is food-safe and lead-free, and the clay body is non-porous. The mugs are suitable for hot and cold drinks.
Every order is packed by hand with care. Pieces are wrapped securely to prevent damage during transit. Packaging is kept as minimal and recyclable as possible.
If your piece arrives damaged, please send a photo to info@isaceramics.nl within 48 hours of receiving it. I will arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.
